What the catalogue covers

Our coverage is growing; we do not claim to list every available activity. The diary shows upcoming sessions, while any-day guides let you choose a visit date, subject to opening times and seasons.

Sources and writing

We use town councils, tourism offices, museums, parks, cultural venues and organisers. Ideas discovered in other diaries are checked against original sources. Descriptions, routes and games are written for Familybond, not copied from other agendas. Search, automation and AI help locate, organise and draft information. An automatic finding is a lead to check, not a published event.

Editorial responsibility

Unconfirmed events, dates or openings and known closures are kept out of listings, recommendations and the map. Previously shared pages may remain accessible with a warning. Familybond is responsible for the editorial content; route ideas and durations are estimates, not evidence of a personal visit or professional assessment.

When we review information

Diary research is scheduled weekly. Some sources require access or manual review or may be unavailable; errors and access limits are recorded in the source register. Place guides receive an in-depth annual review. Known closures or material changes are corrected sooner. The check date records verification of the facts: rebuilding the site or downloading a page does not renew it.

Ages, prices, booking and locations

We explain known age guidance, budgets, booking, hours and route conditions. Missing prices do not mean free admission, and missing ages do not mean suitability for every child. Age filters only use recorded recommendations. A verified booking link does not guarantee availability; full or closed sessions refer to official information. Approximate map points represent towns, not entrances, parking areas or exact trailheads.

Photographs and private communities

Guide photos retain their author, licence and source. Captions identify contextual views and generated reference images. Registering a group does not mean we have read its messages. We do not enter private groups or publish families’ messages or personal details without authorisation.
